FREE -Elk Falls Suspension Bridge: Hangs 64mtrs above the Campbell River canyon floor offering a top to bottom view of Elk Falls. Located 4 km’s up  Gold River Hwy 28, turn onto Brewster Lk Rd. Park in John Hart Interpretive centre parking Lot.  Walk to the falls is 1.4kms.  Full Wheelchair access. Washrooms available. 

FREE -Hiking & Trails: See new alternate walks during BC Hydro construction. All trails open year round, with varied connecting routes.  1-10km walks. Ripple Rock Trail (8kms,  3hrs), Canyon View Trail (5kms), The Millennium Trail (2.4kms), Beaver Pond / Kingfisher Trail (1km), Quinsam River Trail (1km). Snowden Forest (many to choose from), Elk Falls Suspenion Bridge (1.4kms), Beaver Lodge Forestlands (many to choose from),  and Lower Myra Falls Trails (3min walk to several cascading beautiful waterfalls), and Black Creek Trail  (behind the Discovery Foods grocery store at the corner of Regent & Glenmore Rd.)  

FREE -Scenic Walk, Bike & Skate: Free @ CR Sea Walk, 8km of Picturesque mountain and ocean views.  Just follow the water on the Isl. Hwy 19

FREE Hatchery Tour: The Quinsam Hatchery is a great place to observe juvenile salmon all year, or returning salmon from end-of-July to mid-November.
